Divas & Cavaliers

As an “80s” act, or “60s/70s classic rock + disco + R&B” act, or “60s-current” variety cover band,“Divas and Cavaliers“ , is one of Austin’s premiere and well-established party bands. Has done weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events in addition to performing at many Central Texas public venues.

Since 2003, for clients desiring a nostalgic trip back to unforgettable music, a seven-piece show band performing classic 60s/70s/80s/90s/00s/10s rock n roll, R&B, disco, pop, some country and some easy listening/dancing tunes. Featuring THREE VOCALISTS: female vocalist, male vocalist/drummer, and male vocalist/guitarist. Other band-members: sax/keyboardist (playing alto/tenor saxes and producing synthesizer, trumpet, electric piano, organ, and other instrumental sounds on his synthesizer) + 2nd keyboardist (producing acoustic piano, strings, organ, synthesizer sounds on her Kurzweil PC3X workstation) + bassist.

For quieter portions of event likely to be without dancing, such as during a wedding ceremony or dinner , our classically-trained keyboardist can perform solo romantic ballads and old standards. We also can provide appropriate recorded music during dinner/cocktails, band breaks, or whenever requested by client.
